MAP (Measure of Academic Progress) Testing

General:

 

 

It should be noted that these assessments happen thrice a year, each of the 3 testing windows occuring after the 20th, 100th, and 160th days of school. Please also note that the NAD Data Rollup must be current at least a week and a half prior to each testing window.

ROSTERING - STAFF LOGIN/REPORTS ACCESS:

 

Rostering is done by the Central California Conference Office of Education 3 times a year. To make sure that imports are accurate, please have your NAD Dashboard and FACTS database updated and matching at least two weeks prior to the MAP Tests.

PROCTOR RESOURCES AND MAKE-UP TESTING:

 

  • The Proctor Quick Start and Proctor Testing Tips documents are useful resources to proctors as they are testing students each day

  • Prior to ending a testing session, proctors have the ability to download session progress which can help aid in make-up session planning

  • In-line and key-word searchable help is available when clicking Help in the upper right-hand corner of the MAP Administration site

  • MANAGE TEST SESSIONS>Find Students to Test>Test History search allows proctors to look for students who haven’t started a test, completed a test, or have reached the rapid-guessing threshold and create make-up sessions


 

REPORTS AND NORMS RESOURCES:

 

Reports are available via VIEW REPORTS>MAP Growth Reports the next day after a completed test. The MAP Help Center>Your Data section contains many useful resource links:

  • Data Exports + Sharing - To leverage your test results, you can export the data to a file, or share data with approved vendors.

  • Report Details - Choose from a variety of reports to gain insights from your MAP Growth results.

  • Plan Instruction - Here are common ways you can use MAP Growth results to plan and adjust your instruction.
