Marine Biology

Monterey Bay Aquarium has a variety of distance learning activities focusing on ocean life for grades pre-K through 12, and a focused activity plan on the importance of keeping our oceans clean fro grades 6-12. There is plenty for all ages, including online games, and an array of live cams on different aquarium exhibits!

Chemistry*

  1. Through March 31, 2020, the American Association of Chemistry Teachers (AACT) has made its materials available free of charge. Resources focus on chemistry education for high school, middle school, and elementary. These materials can be found here: https://teachchemistry.org/

  2. ChemEdX, already a great resource for high school chemistry education, has created a "Moving to Online Classes" page.

  3. Consider checking out the podcast "Chemistry in its Element"! It comes from Chemistry World, a part of the British Royal Society for Chemistry (RSC has other podcasts that you can find here). Each podcast episode is less than 10 minutes in length, and topics include, but are not limited to the following:
